Policy for the incident

If a child is lost.

· Look for 5 minutes in last place sighted and Nursery and School buildings and ground. Call child’s name.

· Inform Police.

· Inform parents.

On a Trip

· Look for 5 minutes in last place sighted and inform central information/meeting desk/place. Call child’s name.

· Re-congregate as a group and send staff/adults to look for child.

· Inform Police.

· Inform parents.

· Make detailed report and decisions about the incident if needed for the future.
