All lunch time meals are cooked at a local restaurant/pub, called the Appletree in Minsterworth and are bought to the school at lunchtime. The menu is varied so the children can experience a variety of tastes and dietary needs are catered for.

To celebrate certain festivals the caterer provides themed meals such as Chinese food for Chinese New Year. The meals are very reasonable and cost £1.85 each.

Lunch time is a social experience and we encourage the children to develop good table manners and an interest in food. Your child can bring a packed lunch if they wish and we just ask that it is healthy and appropriate for children’s growing development.

The Nursery also provides a healthy snack each day. The children often help prepare the snack and always help with clearing away afterwards.
