The Nursery school
encourages all children to behave reasonably and in an appropriate way for
their development.

and consistent and appropriate to the child’s level of understanding.

If a child is observed behaving inappropriately a
member of staff will remind them in appositive way to desist or change that particular
behaviour.
If there is constant behaviour problem and discussion
and reason is not helping the child, the parents will be informed and asked to
discuss the problem with staff. If need
be a behaviour programme will be constructed between parent and staff to
improve the problem, using reminders, star charts and positive
reinforcement. If problem continues or
is making little progress staff will meet with parents to start an early action
plan.
Behaviour that needs reporting to parents at the end of
the session.
